The Pacific Thoracic Surgery Associates provide expert surgical services to patients with all types of diseases of the chest, including lung volume reduction surgery for emphysema, thoracic sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis, first rib resection for thoracic outlet syndrome, pectus excavatum/carinatum, esophageal procedures for hiatal hernia and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and surgical removal of benign and malignant tumors, ie., lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mesothelioma, thymoma and other thymic tumors, sarcoma, and germ cell tumors. We use all the latest technology, iincluding lasers, bronchial and esophageal stents, and video- and computer-assisted (robotic) surgery.
